I have stand up ,barrel out,Found nice run..Call it rassbery express..the barrel pust still smell...its all scratched.. put cam. up to day.. we will see. any body hunting bear this year???

Pulled into farm today to dump some grass clippings.... I look across street at neighbors... theres a bear with abird feeder on the ground.. Ive never shot a bear.. so im good and worked up...Im going to use the tc pistol 44 mag.. IF you have any thoughts of info??

1. Unless you're doing the butchering yourself, know ahead of time who in your will processes your bear.

2. Get him processed as fast as you can! Don't drive around all day showing everyone you know your bear. Take pictures and get it done quick The longer you let the oils from the bears fat to soak in and taint the meat, the worst it will taste Oh, if you're baiting with jelly donuts, don't worry about the meat going bad. The jelly from the donuts with keep the meat sweet tasting ;D

Did some shooting today...Shoting 265 spitzer 17.5 gr.blue dot.Book says close range high they stay together..Very acc..Load like a lamb come out like a tiger!!!!

All good points,and if you happen to get one,make sure you happen to stick a stick or domething to hold the mouth open unti; riger sets in,when the game warden checked mine he mentioned it,makes it easier for them to pull the teeth.I stopped at morses tonight to pick up arrows and randy told me they got one up at the end of my street alittle ewhile ago,a nusiance bear after his dog,the owner shot it,randy said the actuall weight was about 400 dressed,he saw the pictures and report from fish and game,Can't wait til next week.

Thats not a bad bear in the pick above. Well i got 2 baits out this year and they have been gettin hit good but some guy was walking the woods around where one of my baits was and shot and wounded one that was proble 2 250. then he called me and asked me if i could help him track it. but a good hint would be for their size. if their ears look big on their head its a small bear but if they look small its a good one. and dont shoot when they first get to the bait sometimes sows will leave the cubs behind and check it out first.
