Sometime around the youth and the regular season week on my daily scouting route, I saw three bucks in velvet. The two were just average velvet nubs you see around this time but the third one was already to his ears. I saw them about 1/4 mile from where you and I met and chatted opening morning. I wonder if it's the same guy? You see any ladder sticks in your bow hunting travels that will be me. I keep my stand with me all the time now a days and carry it in & out due to people like "Hooked On Salmon" who got one of my stands last year

I know one thing, I have seen LOTS of deer this spring! I have found some awesome spots in VT as well as right here in NH! I havent seen anything in velvet yet, but will keep my eyes open!
MKM, I leave my stands in my favorite spot and after this fall and hearing you had your stand stolen, I will think twice about it!
