Golly what beautiful work! I have a number of birchbark baskets from Okanagan friends, sewn with cedar root. Your work is every bit as good. I love the look of such birchbark items. You're ready to make a canoe next!
That's too pretty to carry in the bush, though they make a great sound. I tend to cover a lot of ground so don't carry a moose call, just use factory original equipment I was born with and try to open my windpipe all the way to my lungs to give it resonance. It's not as good a sound but it works.
I'd treasure your call as art for my mantel.

Charlie, that thing looks real good and I bet it sounds even better.
A native american friend of mine from Houlton main said to remember to "warble" your voice (kinda like a singer) during the middle of an esterous cow call. He said that he has heard them in the wild and since he started doing that when he guides people, he has had great success.
