I am planning on going out tomorrow night. We have a bunch of dead calves and a cow that the cyotes pass early everynighht, so I will borrow a spotlight and sit out there from 6-7:30 and see what happens. I think I have the coyotes patterned, but I am not quite sure when they come back on to our property at night. I believe they left our property tonight and will return the same time tomorrow night.

hey troutpro, hope you do better than I did this weekend. I'll tell you the story, hold on it's time for me to vent.
Saturday morning left my first calling stand only to find three sets of fresh tracks that circled downwind. Next picked up a buddy of mine to help out. We caught a look at one dog, but could not get a shot. Monday, too windy to call dogs. I decided to scout out a few spots. Left the rifle at home, but brought my pistol. Found little sign in the area, but caught a yote in the field while I was walking out. Mousing in the field at 80 yds and me with a .22 pistol. I kicked myself all the way home. Well, I got that off my chest. Troutpro, sounds like you have been doing your home work. All we can do is narrow down their patterns and then put in the time. I think I will be heading out tonight also, after work. Let me know how it goes.

I was also thinking of maybe going out tonight, if not I will go out tomorrow. Not sure where yet. If I stay local then I will drop some bait and start taking notes on the activity in the area. If I go somewhere else then I guess I will just call....
