Mine are my Brass Rhino,Primos Regulator 10,Circe P1,Crit R Call Standard and for my howler I like my Cronk Howler or my Primos Regulator 10 with a horn at the end of it.I just don't care for e-callers anymore.

so far I like primos calls. The one that I find most useful and easy is the lil' dog howler. Mkaes great howls everytime and not tough for beginners to figure out..

I've been trying out the little dog this season. Last night started out a stand with quiet pup yelps. Had one come in right away, but never got a shot. I've yet to smoke one while using "Randy's" calls, but they sound great. They are still in their test phase for me but I think they are keepers.

Hey guys! I'm just getting started in preditor hunting. What would be a good call for me to start out with?

Try one of the simple, closed reed, cottontail distress calls. Everyone makes them, they are easy to use and cost around $10. Just don't call too loud with it and it should work well, if you can find where the dogs are.

Yotecaller: with the lil' dog i use the green mouth piece without the horn and put my lips near the tip. and I just cup my hand around the end and open and close my hand to vary the volume as if I was a screaming bummed out rabbitt. I try to give it the waaaaaaaa------waaaaa sound like a baby cry and I make it sound like I am in hell and then I tone it down at the end to make it sound real. REMEMBER bunnies have small lungs so they can't scream for to long at one time, 20-30 seconds... Hope this helps!!! GOOD LUCK

Rare Earth makes fine mouth calls. They are a bit high priced, but sound different which is really nice if you hunt in an area that is called heavily. I also like the Primo "Little dog".

Pete Rickard makes a nice hand held that has bellows attached, so if you get something in close you can use it hands free.

Some of the nicest hand calls you will find anywhere are made right in NH by Al Woodard,THO Game Calls. Some of my other favorites are by Lance Homman and Bearmanric on predatormasters.com.Tony Tebbe howler as well.As for commercial calls,I like the Circe/Lohman 3 in 1,K&H closed reeds get a bad rep IMO,i like em ok.
Never heard of Rare Earth?Bandit is made by Minaska Outdoors I beleive?
