Can anyone recommend a good CD to by for my caller for coyote hunting in NH. I'm new at this game and want to get the best sounds available to get started on the right foot.

I'd have to say either cottontail or fawn distress would work well. I'm not an expert at it but those two seem to be a universal dinner bell for predators ;D

I'm new to coyote hunting but have heard of people having a lot of luck with wood pecker distress sounds. I haven't heard much about the fawn in distress, but a lot of people use the cottontail with lots of luck.

MAUSERMOE: check out my post called Make your own e-caller. there is a link to a site that you can download your own distress and howles. If you can burn a cd then make your own or make several to see what sounds are most effective for you. Make sure you download the 2 mins. of silence so there is a break in between sounds... I have downloaded some of these sounds but have not made a cd yet. I probably will soon. GOOD LUCK
