Where do you guys think the highest concentration of coyote are in NH, in the north, central, or southern part of the state? Do they like the boonies or built up areas. I figure with all the cats and small dogs, the built up areas would be a good food source.

I would say that the Northern part of the state has the most coyotes. It seems just so much easyer to call them in up there. It seems like I have to call 4 times as much here in the southern part of the state.

It's easier to call them in up north but I think there are more down south. I think it has more to do with the fact that there is just less food up north and they have to be more optimistic to survive.

the coyotes up north are easier to call maybe for the reason that they see less human activity so they are easier to fool, that doesn't mean they are dumb just a little less wise. there could be more down south because as JAY said there is more food, these coyotes are no stranger to people and noise and more pressure in the woods so they are a little bit iffy about coming to a call and exposing themselves.. those are my thought and I could be way off,
