Hey people, I am new as of today and would like to thank browning for showing me this site!!! Looks kewl and have read some real helpful thoughts as I am new to calling coyotes in with calls. Keep the good thoughts coming and the coyotes rollin!!!

any ideas will help...been at it for over a month now and called in only 1........changed calls......went electrnic and back to mouth calls then back toa homemade electronic call to which I did get a response from last night but got dark before he came in.

There can be pages written on tactics and stuff, let us know what areas that you have questions in and we will answer them the best we can. Hunt coyote in the NE is not easy by any stretch. Playing the wind/scent control and camo/not moving is key. We in the NE call more coyote that are seen by us. Good calling and set-ups are also very important!
Let us know how you are going about it now and we can help you adjust in need be.

well if you guys get a second go to varmitals.com and down towards the end of the page he has some calls recorded. I am using the 16 min sequence and if you scroll down farther I am using the same "el cheapo" sound system. Listen to the segment and tell me what you guys think.....should I make a new one with a diff combo or should I stay with one specific call? Appreciate all opions!

I treid listening to them, but our computer program that runs it is having a problem so I was unable to. If you are going to hunt the same area you may want to try switching sounds incase the coyotes found out something was up. I like rodent in distress and cottontail in distress calls, but I use a lot of different sounds.
