Well, after taking the 11-87 out for ducks and having it not cycle back it went, no questions asked...when I buy a gun I demand it work properly, call me picky. ;D Read up and looking at the Stoeger 3500...all reviews positive and in my price range. Doing more research before I give up my $$$ again...stupid me. HANK

Sorry to hear that Hank. My brand new 11-87 did the same thing on VT turkey hunt on its second season used only for turkey hunting. I stopped at my gunsmith shop on the way home to have them look at it. A week later & just a few dollars for the repair, it was good to go....good to go to the used gun rack at Jims shop I felt the same way Hank. If it failed me once & I wasn't going to give it another chance to do it again

Picked up my Stoeger 3500 last night, man, for $600.00 brand new this is a sweet deal...and a beautifully crafted gun Blue collar Benelli, super smooth action, full camo. 5 chockes..IC thru extra full turkey, and a 10 oz. recoil reducer. All reviews are glowing with this shotgun, unfortunately most reviews on the 11-87 were negative...I dont want to be in a blind or have a longbeard in front of me and that little voice of indecision in the back of my head saying "it's not gonna work". I will post a review of how this gun performs after I sling a few boxes thru it..due to the inertia drive a break in period is usually required which is understandable. HANK
