Hey guys, I just wanted to show you my new toy!! I just picked this up tonight. AR-15 by bushmaster with all kinds of upgrades. With a soft case and enough ammo to fill all those mags up! Gee, i won't be at the range this weekend will I?

Nice!
you will like the aimpoint with the a.r.m.s. throw lever ring. If you have never used one before it takes some getting use to. They are designed to have both eyes open while shooting and are parallax free past 50 meters. It has a big dot for little targets that range way out there, but of course it was designed to be a close combat optic (cco). I don't want to get into a history lesson, but if you need any info or tips, let me know.

actually B4, I do have a couple of questions since I am a newbie in the AR world.. the propoint scope is not a zoom scope, but right now it is sighted in for 25 yards. now when I shoot paper and coyotes I would be shooting at more than that distance. so do I just sight it in for a further range and just aim high/low as needed? kind of like iron sights? and one of the clips I got is a cold weather clip, heres the pic other than it being plastic, how else does it differ from a regular clip to be "cold weather" thanks for any info! oh ya what is the heaviest bullets I can buy from factory? thanks again!!

Cool. Very Cool. We have to change your handle to SkinnyRambo now. You do realize that you can only have 5 rounds in the mag while hunting in NH right? And only 5 rounds in each extra mag too? Which is realy too bad. MkMGbl told me what kind of shot you were LOLOLOLOL Al@THO THO Game Calls www.thogamecalls.com

hey browning204, The point of impact at 25m is the same at 300m. You will have to go to the range and learn the change of impact for the ranges in between that. I'll have to get back to you on specifics of it.
You can get match grade 77 gr factory loads for .223, but they are hard to come by and expensive. A good 55 or 62 gr ballistic tip ammo will work out fine. Just try out as many brands as you can, to find out what it likes.
Sorry to say your "cold weather" magazine is not a favorite of mine. I have used them, but not a lot. I have never heard good things about them. They are good for the range but they jam and miss feed a lot. The best mags I have seen are made by HK. But you will probably never find them for sale (high demand). If you take apart the ones you have and keep them clean, they will work fine. For hunting the five rnd mags work great.

B4, any info you or anyone can pass along about the AR would be awesome! I am brand new to this sort of firearm. I will take it out to the range this weekend to get a feel for it! As long as the weather is good and then look out coyotes, man it will be hard to decide which gun to use .223 or .204 when I go out!

And only 5 rounds in each extra mag too? Which is realy too bad. Do have a link from a state site that say's you can't have extra mags with more than 5 rounds? I thought it had to be in the weapon. I've checked NHF&G and NH laws online and can't find anything that mentions extra mags.
