You do the training yourself? or is the dog a natural go getter? A friend of mine has a black lab he hardly worked with at all and he's a pretty dog. It was runnig in blood I guess

I did the training my self with alot of help from a friend who is a profesional trainer. Honestly it was me who needed to be trained not her!!!!! She was sight pointing at 8 weeks old and scent pointing at 4 months.
Her mother was a hunting dog with good blood lines and both her father and grand father were national feild trial campions with the grandfather being a multi national champ. (OHU Shameless)
She is a litte on the hyper side but come hunting season it is well worth it to put up with it during the rest of the year!!

Nobody said it couldn't be done. But why, when you could hunt over a Lab? Just kidding dude, you've got a great looking dog there and it looks like he's the real deal. Enjoy.

Ooops. Sorry man. still a good looking dog. I don't think I saw that many ducks in one day all season.
