Just wondering if anyone is out there from Vermont and would like to get together for some yote hunting. I havent been calling for that long but have hunted them with dogs and do so every winter.....Day of calling worth a day of running with dogs???

I have always been interested in Coyote hunting in Vermont. I have hunted Deer and Partridge in Danville vermont and Vic's parents have land near the Moore Rez.
The times I was in Danville, When going to bed I was put to sleep with the sounds of coyotes Howling from Ridge to Ridge.
Where are you in VT.??

I have calles in lots of coyotes, problem is getting a shot on them. With the thick cover it can be hard.
I use E-callers but have plenty of Mouth calls.
Good luck!

I think this fall will be good provided that I can get out a bunch. I have seen pups and know alot of other guys that have seen pups all over the state.
I have a couple new tricks up my sleeve as well. I hope to get some kills on video.
You said that you are not a good caller, that is not true. set-ups will make or break any caller good or bad.
Scout for their home turfs, get as close as possible without being made and do you best dyeing critter that you can. Remember after you stop calling that stand, stick around for 5-10 minutes. Alot of less dominant or yoy or shy coyotes will come in AFTER the sound has stopped.
What do you have for mouth calls??

cotton tail is good. Remember, rabbits have small lungs, don't blow to long.
