Still testing out the new trial cam... seeing how long the batteries work, settings, etc. Put a chicken carcass and some apples out by the 3-D.

What a cool thing!!!! Nice photo. So clear. If you don't mind me asking. What kind of Trail Cam are you using? What was the time of the photo? You maybe onto something, as a new way to scout. I would like to use one on my bait site. Have you been trying to get that boy in you gun sites? Can you night hunt where you are at? Good Idea for a contest!! Best photo kind of thing. Have to run that by browning204. Keep them photos coming. Great to look at. Highwaystar

Nice pictures. What kind of temperatures are you talking? I'd like to put one up here in Alaska, but I'm afraid at -40ºF the batteries might not kick in when something comes along. I guess I could go with the Lithium style that perform better in the cold. Any thoughts?

It's s Woodland SpyCam 6150 with a Sony DSC-S600 digital camera. I tried it with standard AA's but they didn't last long in the cold weather. So I got a Radio Shack recharger and went the NiMH route which works fine. The cam was out through some single digit temps. I checked it about every day; have some great shots of me. Here are a couple more of this guy. The only downside to the Sony is they didn't put the date-and-time stamp option on it. These were taken on the 20th between 7:30 and 10:30 at night. He came back at 8:30 and again for the last set. Probably the flash made him nervous.

Great photos. That's a dandy coyote, not real fine and silky like the off white ones, but he has strong markings with that band across his shoulders. If you make a flat rug out of him it will form a striking chevon with the point behind his shoulders. Good camera set up. Way to go.
