I found three kill sights this weekend. The deer are taken a beating!!! Its time everyone gets out there and kills some coyotes before they get to many deer. The state F+G do not think coyote kill deer. They should have seen these kill sights

I talked to two different F&G officers last week about this and they emphatically declared that there is no way NH coyotes kill deer. They say they are too well fed from small varmints and other food sources and would "never need to resort to killing a deer". Too funny.

BTW - where are the kill sites? Are they in an area where we can hunt the coyotes?

A few years ago I saw a stare down between a good size doe and a coyote. They were only 15 yards from each other, both motionless. I have not come across any kills, but I know they get some fulll grown deer. I do see a lot of turkey kills, but we have more turkey than we need on our property anyway. Some one mentioned to me once about having a trail camera out in front of a den and the coyotes taking back 6 fawns in a period of a few days.

I found what was left of a coyote killed deer behind my house last Saturday. I was killed in deep snow sometime during the week as it wasn't there last Sunday. I saw in my climber about 50 yards away the rest of the day hoping to catch one coming back for a snack but had not luck.

I put bait out yesterday but nothing even looked at it. I doubled the bait pile tonight so we're hoping to see something tomorrow. Tomorrow I'll also be putting a game camera over the bait so we can see what's looking at it, and more importantly, what time they're looking at it.
