Meguide on the PM forum is organizing the next NE predator hunt. I went last year and it was a great time. Rodney (Meguide) is a cop full time, but part time he has a guide service. He offers up his cabins for the hunt on a first come first serve basis. It's located in the Rangley Maine area. Last year about 12-15 people showed, one from as far as Texas and two from PA.
I know last year PM forum didn't want to do anything to support the hunt. Since we're all from NE, maybe Rodney would be better off organizing the hunt from this site. I sent him a PM with a link to this forum.

Sounds good. I pass right by your way heading to rt101. It's likely to be in January. The cost of an out of state small game license is $50-$55. You can get them online. If you also want to go for bobcat you need a big game license.

PM is a great site, but it does drive me crazy how the seem to cater to Foxpro. I’d like to read some honest and critical opinions on WT, Foxpro, and the Bandit. As you know, Mike, I have the Foxpro 532, but I’m thinking of getting a newer, louder caller. Is the FX3 louder than the 532? Is the Bandit louder than the FX3? I’ve heard your WT and I know that’s loud.
Mike, the kids are in school starting next Wednesday. I’ll have a lot more time to hunt then. I hope you and some of the other guys from here can make it to the Maine hunt in January.

PM is a very informative site. I enjoy the forum, but sometimes you have to roll your eyes at some of the posts. Like shooting coyotes at 100+yds with a shot gun.

fivepak: you already know about the foxpro and the WT, I have read lots of good things about the Minaska callers. I have read and have been told in phone conversations by owners that they sound real good and have a good remote and stuff. I have been told by one guy that he had one but had to send it back 4 times to be fixed, and the last time he had the case melt, so he gave up on it and is gonna buy a different caller. THO has one of those Minaska power amp and speaker set-ups and he likes it alot. With any of these companies, if you buy their product and don't like it, I am sure they will take it back.. And I wanna know, Who is shooting coyotes @ 100 yards with a shotgun?

Fivepak, I am pretty sure the Fx3 is suppose to be louder than the 532, I only have owned the Fx3 though. Foxpro was having trouble with the remote for the Fx3 and we ended up having to return ours for a new one, no cost to us. Their customer service was nice and handled it quickly so that is a plus, but it would have been nice if we did not need a new remote. I don't have experience with other electric calls, but the Fx3 SEEMS very loud, clear, compact, and the calller(not the remote) seems durable.
