Was out with brodeur272 Sunday night for some coyote calling. Hooked up at 8:00 P.M. Called a few spots and got a response at about 9:30 P.M. We were in a cornfield on a slight ridge. brodeur272 put the WT on his mono shooting stick and held the WT up high. This time we tried Dominant single male Howls and after a few shut the caller off. It was like an echo. The same sound came back at us. Changed to Adult single female howls and in the opposite direction, we got a call back there too! It was a sharp set of barks. We stayed out till 12:30 A.M. and had a good time. Will check back in a few weeks and keep a log and see if we found a new spot to hunt. By the way it was a perfect night clear and cool. Night hunting, what FUN. This is what I play when locating. Play 1 sequence. 1 - Male 2 Howls Pup group howl 2 - Female 2 howls Coyote hunting whines 3 - Dominant male group rally howl Full Volume, 5 Minutes Max. Run time. Log and move to next site. We tried different sounds but the 2 howlers seam to work this night. Is there a sound or a set of sounds you play that I might try? browning204: I posted the story and coyote picture of Me and brodeur272 on the web site you had on your post. www.easterncoyotes.comIs anyone here going to post there? I'm the only one from NH. I know you all have a story ;D to tell. It was easy too!!! Highwaystar

it is not a posting type of site, it is just a site for the EASTERN coyote hunter. If you go to the maine photo page, that coyote pic is from me.
I plan on adding pics to the NH page also.
p.s. I just saw the photo over there, cool stuff!!!!
