I was looking at the Coyote Contest pictures. Congrats to those who connected! I was wondering if anyone has had one mounted? I was with my daughter a couple of years ago and shot a 40 pound male. We had a pedistal mount done of it. The lab isn't too impressed with it, but it was fun to take the picture.

;D I love the photo of the stare down! That's awesome ;D I wanted to have the one I shot with my bow mounted but was already having a mount done. I took my first bear, my first coyote (running) both with a bow from the same stand a week apart. I ended up that year with the bear shoulder mount, the coyote hide tanned and European mounts done with both skulls. No plaques on the skull mounts yet I don't think I've ever seen a coyote mounted like that. I like it and will keep that in mind in case I ever tip another one. Mind if I ask what it cost you? Thanks for posting it

The mount was $250.
Did you have your skulls done by a taxidermist or did you do them yourself? I did the skull myself and it came out ok. The problem is that I lost one of the canines before I had a chance to glue then in. Guess I'll know better next time!

I had my taxidermist do them. $300 for the open mouth shoulder mount on the bear, $75 for the coyote hide tanning and he did both skulls for $75. He's an incredible taxidermist! In fact I spoke to him just the other day about doing a full strut turkey for me. I'd like to have one done just my call package for at shows. The same pose and the morels ;D

I called my taxidermist to find out prices after I got my coyote this year. She said $650 for full body mount. I passed. They did a great job on my deer a couple years ago...check it out October Mountain Taxidermy, Connecticut.

I had a rug made from a beautiful blond female Yote a few years ago. I'll try to get some pictures take of it soon and post them.

This year I saw a amazing looking blonde coyote while deer hunting. Unfortunately it didn't come within bow range. I would like to see the picture of your rug mausermoe.
