Is anyone using single shot rifles? I am thinking of using my T/C Contender & was wondering if anyone else was doing the one shot thing, blackpowder &/or single shots.

That is all I have used for the last 10 years for muzzle loader and rifle season, wouldn't do it any other way. TC Encore 50 Cal. is what I use now for the past 3 years. Before that was my TC Hawken 50 Cal. ONE SHOT

I have 2 NEF singles: .223 "Survivor" & .243 Handi-rifle. Both topped w/3-9x50 scopes. Both are tack-drivers. I shoot Hornady 55 gr. 223, & 58 gr. 243. I shot 53 coyotes since Nov. with the 223 & 9 with the 243. I spent a lot of time at the range with the Survivor before hunting with it. Got decent at fast reloads. I can almost do it as fast as most folks use a bolt. The trick is practice.
