I haven't shot the Omega yet but will have to pretty soon. If it shoots as good as my others it will be a keeper.I got bored one day and went to a local gun shop and guess what OMEGA.

I was using the triple 777 pelets, but I'm switching back to the pyrodex pelets at 150g. The 777 cleans up nice but its hard to reload when your shooting alot.

I have a TC Black Diamond and I shoot 150 grains of triple 7 and put a 300 Grain Hornady XTP mag in front of that. It shoots incredibly and sure does a number on a deer. I dropped a doe 2 years back at about 120 yards with this combo, the wound channel was unreal!

I shoot 90 gr. of 777 with 250 gr Shockwaves in my Encore and it is very accurate. Most of my shots are under 100 yards.

Most of my shots are under 80 yards also, that was just a rare occurance but it was nice to know that my gun could handle it. I really would like an omega because it's easier to clean. The black diamond is a pain in the butt!

The TC Encore is a nice BP rifle and it cleans real easy also. The nice thing about the Encore is the different barrel options. I have a 24" 12 gauge Turkey barrel for mine and I'm thinking about getting a blackpowder Turkey barrel. I think that would be fun to shoot.

Here's my T/C Omega! It's one sweet shooting smokepole On it's very first trip into the wood, I dropped this buck free hand straight on through saplings roughly 60yards while still hunting in a creek bottom.
