I had someone interested in my encore so i sold it and upgraded to the TC Pro Hunter Katahdin. Awesome gun. Fox ridge outfitters custom made this gun as it is not normally available with camo stock and forend. These guys know there stuff. I do not work for them but felt it necessary to throw a plug in for them. I am going to also sell my Sako 300 RUM and buy another barrel for my Pro Hunter.

Phesnt, I knew you would like that gun. However, I like the black better. You will love the way that gun shoots. I still think you need to get the Pro Hunter shoulder strap. Fox Ridge really help me make my choice. Lets get together and get the dogs on some grouse.

Sharp. I want one. I almost bought the pro hunter instead of the Omega. The money was the factor. Next year hopefully get one with a rifle barrel. I have also been wanting to go to Foxridge, have to be sooner rather than later. Good luck with it, lets know how it shoots....J

Awesome gun. From what I've read the camo stock is a very new addition. I think it looks sharp, was looking at one at the Kittery Trading Post this past Sunday. I'd have to say that's what I'll be saving my pennies for next.

Well honestly i shot it for the first time two weeks ago. I t does everything it claimed. 200 yards 3" group. 150 grains of pyrodex and 250 grain shockwave. I have the Katahdin model which comes with the 20" barrel. Nice and compact and light. i wouldn't trade it for anything.

I have a new prohunter50 that I was shooting yesterday and I would load the first round it would load fine, but when I shoot that round then go to load the second round it wouldn't seat all the way down.It was like the first round left residue about where the top of the bullet was.It didn't matter whether I loaded 100 grns(2 pellets) or 150grns(3pellets)of pyrodex pellets and 250grn shockwaves(t.c.)

Hunterx,
Most likely caused by the plastic residue from the sabot. Scrub it out shoot it and repeat a few times. My black diamond did the same thing. That is one reason I switched to the powerbelts.
Good luck
