I got a call today that my 2007 Vermont gobbler mount is ready I'm not picking it up until this weekend but I will be taking a ride over tonight to see it get some photos. I also need to take over a shed or shed set to add to the display. As with all my mounts Dan does, I'm sure this one is going to look absolutely awesome! The guy is good I can't wait to see it.

Not sure why you would mount something like that, no hooks and not much of a beard . . . .hehehehe . . . VERY nice bird Tom! I like the sheds and shrooms. Nice touch.

That's Vermont for ya Those morels are hand craved from deer sheds. Not sure where the post is on here but I bought them from a guy on eBay before x-mas. I'm pretty positive I mentioned them on here. They look pretty real in person. Dan has done two turkeys for me, my bear shoulder mount and a deer head plus several rack mounts, coyote cape and my bear skull. Those last two items were sent out but the other weren't and their all fist class work.

Hey Tom when Dan said he lost my turkey feet for my mount I belived him but now Im kinda wondering if he just got them mixed up with yours. Those spurs are mighty long. Good job to the both of you. Rob

Rob No he didn't loose yours. After you left, I went back over and filed your birds spurs down a little Would have done it to masshntr too but he didn't let the bird out of his sight while I was around. This by far was my best New England gobbler as far as spurs goes. My double bearded gobbler two seasons ago was the best for beard & weight. It's funny how when I work a gobbler for someone else, they tend to roll one with everything! The weight, beard and spurs are all in one package. ...a package that's eluded me for 9 years now Darn it, I'm due this season!
