Well the turkey really were not out but we located a few. On the way to get my hunting license we spotted a very huge mama bear with two cubs. We got in a little run and gun crow hunting in and we ended up with 9. Two were MIA We both watched the one hit the ground and masshntr watched my other one flutter to the ground. Stayed with the hunting instead of chasing and ended up not finding them. Bring my count up to 40 dead birds My son asked me, why do you only shoot one with me and more with other people? He will headsing to VT next weekend with me for sure to get into this action

I was wondering how you did. Great job! Were they pretty much uncalled birds or did they make you work for it?

Tough to say with the wind. However if I had to say one way or the other, uncalled birds We jumped around a lot and out of the 8 set ups, only one didn't produce crows in good numbers.

MK-M was top gun Sunday. I educated several and at least a few are a bit heavier today, even though they kept flying. But we had a lot of fun (number 1 objective) and got in some good wing shooting practice. One of many funny stories: we finished one set-up with two Foxpro's calling and a number of shots being fired. Headed back to the truck, MK-M hit his crow mouth call and got a reasonably nearby shock gobble. That boy was silent through all the electronic and real crow calls, not to mention 12's going off on a regular basis. We had a good laugh.
