NH workshop offered on crow hunting. HOLDERNESS, N.H. (AP) -- When they talk about eating crow in New Hampshire, they mean what they say.
The state Fish and Game Department is offering a free workshop on crow hunting next month, and it includes recipes for eating crow.
The workshop is from 9 a.m. to noon Aug. 13 at the Owl Brook Hunter Education Center. Pre-registration is required by calling 536-3954.
The workshop will cover the basic pursuit of crows, from using a mouth call to high-tech electronic calling and decoying. Participants will learn about crow behavior, clothes to wear and shotgun and ammunition options.
Crow hunting opens Aug. 15 and runs through Nov. 30. Hunting the birds also is allowed March 16-31.

I left a message to pre-register, so I am guessing I'll be there. Hunted crows for a bit, but I imagine I'll learn a thing or two.
