Went and picked up the new pup yesterday in Waterford CT at Morningstar Shorthiars. Ride home went well. One pit stop were she took a leak and other than a few short bouts of whining it was a good trip home.
The boys were waiting patiently to meet the new addition and Dixie took to them both right away. She is very social in the house and adventurous and bold outdoors. Unlike my last GSP she does not seem to want to roam to far which for me is a good thing.
The into to my wifes dog went a lot better than I thought. Dixie started wagging her tail as soon as soon as we brought her down stairs. They seem to be hitting it off and hopefully will be best friends soon.
Went up last night to the breeder to see the pups, picked a tri-color Llewellyn Setter, 5 weeks old, was looking at black and whites but couldnt pass this guy up, real bold and independent but laid back...cant wait to get him home and in the field! HANK
