I've got a lot of rounds I need to put through "Big Ben". I was wondering if anyone wanted to hook up sometime for some trap or skeet shooting? I've got a Hoppes Clay Thrower and a place to shoot them but it doesn't throw all that great. I checked out 20th Century Skeet in Hooksett and they cost $5 a round for non-members. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll look into their hours and see what would work out best

I am a member at the 20th. If you want to go on a sunday afternoon let me know. Another thing is Thursday nights. They shoot a 50 target sporting clays course. Lots of fun and some good food after.

I have shot skeet at the 20th. All auto machines and pretty good fun.
Nobody talked to us because we are members at chester.
I guess they consider themselves of higher shooters??
But still had a good time.

browning, Not sure when you went but that is not the norm. We get an average of 50+ shooters every thur night (most non members) and in the winter all three skeet fields and the 5 stand are cranking all day long on sunday and most of the day on sat.
Also the 20th is a little different in that even if you are a non member you can simply sign in and go shoot. If you are by yourself you can just hook up with someone but if you have a group you guys can go shoot by yourself.
Sorry you had a bad experience.

This was a while ago that We went. We went on a thursday and had fun with the auto machines. Defenitly some different presentations than I am used to. I shot below average.
As I said, we kinda got the cold shoulder because we didn't shoot 28 gauge or had a Shotgun buggy (golf club buggy) and they knew we were from chester.
BUT the same guys at 20th that shoot IN chester on wen. are nice as pie when they shoot with us!!!
No need to apologize, it ain't your fault, UNLESS YOUR one of the snobs!!!! ;D ;D

I've shot once with Regnar, my advice: no friendly bets, the guy doesn't know how to miss!! But he can fix up your kids shooting form!!

Thursday nights are not good for me golf league. I could however get a sub and give the sporting clays a try again. It's been years since I shot them but I never forgot how much fun it is ;D What time on Sunday would you like to shoot? Just let me know on here or at Chester this Sunday (if you're are going to shoot it). I pretty sure I'll be there even though I still need to work with my pins some more before I start shooting 40+ yards Back to the 20th, how much does a membership cost? Do they have a web site? It's also been a long time since I shot the five stand. Would love to get back into shooting clays from time to time and I believe a membership just might help me get out there.

I plan on chester. Its 5 minuets from home. DOnt worry about 40 yards. The bowhunter stake is 35 or less with most being less than 30.
I think the 20th has a web site but not sure. Cost is 100 plus an ination which I do no know how much it is now. I believe there is a waiting list now. When I joined 10 years ago my wife and I were like number 23 & 24. Its come along way back from the brink of exticntion.
