I went to pull my camera & had a surpeise when I got there....it was gone As I got closer I found it laying face down about 15 yards from the tree & trail I had it set up on. Strap ripped from the tree along with several teeth marks & gashes all over my camera case. I was pretty sure I knew who did it. There’s this mystery 150 class monster that did it because he didn't like getting his picture taken but I was wrong After getting home I checked what photos I had & there was a ton! Four of a doe(s) coming & going, the bear approaching my camera then the rest was trees! Or should I say tree tops. I did get 7 more photos for the next few days where he was still playing with my camera as he was coming & going through the area. Some just black fur, some blurry images of something black and then maybe a few of inside his mouth On my way out I found a safety harness way back in an area I doubt anyone is hunting. I think the bear took it from another hunter in the area. I know as I was recovering my deer last year that someone else is in there because of his bright eyes trail markers. I hung the harness roughly where I thought I saw the markers or where he’s was hunting so maybe he'll get it back

Bear hunting isn't something that has me jumping for joy I called Masshntr to let him know but never heard back from him. I know NHGriff is looking to stick a bear. If either of them pass, do you want go after him? I will tell you this, he's in a good ways off the main road but it's an easy walk heading in. Heading out dragging a bear...you will be humping it hard Whoever hunts it better have a wheeler lined up to get it out ;D

Tom, Do you think he's still in the area? I'd love to come and take him out of there, just wondering if you've seen anything since June when these pic's were taken.
I assume this it North of 202 right? Just wondering because the season is different down south here where I live.

I believe he's still in there. My camera date was only off one day & the last plurred photo of him was taken Monday of last week. Besides, I'm sure a little JV Bear scent could get him in

I'll be putting my hang on back in there this year Well I'll have the climbing sticks in there & will be carrying in/out the stand. Past the stonewall, right side of the trail roughly 100 yards from trail & stonewall. If you've seen the two huge red oaks in there, I won't be far from them Hey NHGriff! I found that bear juice I told you about. It's still kicking stronger than ever I forgot I put it back over near my boat far far far away from the house ;D If you wish to use it, I'd suggest getting a trailer to haul it around ;D
