So who read the article in the Hawkeye F&G wrote trying to explain (more like justify) their method of madness? what total BS they are! If they found out that a 2 point AR is not the way to go, then make it a 3 or 4 point AR! From what I read and understand, it's working in every state that has added to their program! I guess their head deer biologist know better and that NH deer are different Only thing different about NH deer is that they are being chased down for over 30+ days by gun hunters I’m heading to a meetings to see this so called process in first hand! NH proposes wildlife rules changes
CONCORD, N.H. (AP) -- New Hampshire fish and game officials have scheduled three hearings next month on proposed changes to hunting and trapping seasons.
The proposals include reducing the deer hunt in response to two preceding severe winters that hurt the deer population. The agency also proposes reducing the number of moose hunting permits from 515 to 395. Another proposal would open trapping season two weeks earlier in northern New Hampshire to facilitate ice-free trapping.
Hearings have been scheduled in Lancaster on April 5 at the Fish and Game Department office, at Keene High School on April 6 and at Fish and Game headquarters in Concord on April 8. The hearings start at 6:30 p.m.

I'm not a big proponent of AR's, but time will tell if I agree with them here. It's still a strange concept to me to have a state that is attempting to LIMIT the deer harvest due to low numbers, as opposed to a state that is trying to INCREASE the deer harvest.
If I go a second deer season up here and not see a deer, I might just have to give up deer hunting in New England and make annual trips back home to fill the freezer........
