Taken about 10 days ago in Hornell, west of Corning in Southern Tier, confirmed by NY DEC.

Well. Could they be in NH. The mystery continues. That is not that far from us. Like to bring that to the Ecaller. What a rush to see a cat like that come out of the brush. Highwaystar

I got no cat in this discussion but FWIW the tree closest to the camera in the first photo and the small one right of center in the second both look like long needled Ponderosa pine, common in dry forest parts of the far west. I've no idea if such trees grow in NY. If not, it is a clue to the photo's origin.

I was going by what was wrote.
Those photes of the cat on the deck were from a guy from Martin, SD. So, the story says.
Don't know way they would not include the photos. They say:
I could see how that would happen. With 3 cats in the driveway.
