Well after a half dozen times going out i finaly got one. I sat in this spot a few days befor and had one sneak up behind me and i never saw it. so i sat down and called for about 25 sec and i thought i hured somthin in the brush. so i turned and looked and it was running in fast. so i waited for it to get behind a tree and i turned and put the cross hairs on it shuolder and it floped on the ground the ran away. i should of stayed sitting down and started calling again but beeing new at it i started walking to where the shot was . and it looked like i had shot it with a rage broad head blood everywhere. i walked abot anouther 40 yards and it was laying there dead. i did shoot it alittle low but the new gun worked great.. but what i didnt realize untill i got it to the house was that it has a little mange thing going on.. had a little bald spots on its side and its ears were bald

The only good coyote is a DEAD one! Good job! I just saw in the Hawkeye they might be proposing a coyote season from September to March I think ! that would give them a break so they can fatten up on fawns n poults.
