I've done it in the past with my 870 Wing-master Magnum but with some minor moisture issues. Tape absorbed moisture and left water marks like a water glass on a coffee table. I'd like to wrap Natalie but not sure if I trust her not getting boggered up.
What would you do....tape or no tape?

I tape my 870. I put a little Rem Oil on it first. I've got the stretchy self-stick stuff they use for wound dressings. Works real well. The barrel's not matte and I spooked at least one gobbler with it before I taped it. Moved the gun an inch or so and... "Putt!".
