Well, no pics, but we got 4 and missed many more this morning! Crows were flying good in the fog this morning! Killed them coming into the crow distress call!

Shot two today with the 17hmr. One at about 75 yards and the other around 125. No pictures as I left the memory card at home Shoot both bids around manure piles. That little round sure did a number on them. I stuck one in a tree and will go back tomorrow after work and try to shoot another and get a picture of that one it is still there. Saw very few turkeys today which surprised me.

Ok boys and girls, here's my hunt from yesterday. In the past seasons I hunted many more days but never did this well. This spring I've only hunted 5 days for a grand total of 30 birds. 24 of them I smacked yesterday. I didn't recover 2 because they dropped into the Conn. river on me. I love calling birds from the NH side to the VT side where they are still in season. ;D

Thanks guys, I usually don't do that well. My second best day in the past was 18 and 2 years ago my buddy and I teamed up for an 11 bird day. 99% of the time I get between 0 and 5 crows per hunt.
tchick, the VT season rolls on 'till the end of April
