Sweet looking hogs...I'd like to take one of those suckers with the bow...I bet that would be a hoot...I'm assuming the season is always open since they are non-native?

I know in MA, there is no closed season or limit on non-native birds such as European Sparrows and Starlings...You would figure if it's a non-native species they would want it out...I believe NH did this with elk that had escaped Corbin way way back...Sounds like a call to F&G.

I was told they are considered private property of corbin park, so you cant hunt them, but then I was also told corbin park wont prosecute if you shoot one because they dont want to ackwowledge ownership of them because then they are liable for any damage the pigs may do.

Those things rule! I'm guessing there must be a fairly good sized population? I want one too!
Does your buddy hunt them from a stand?

I hope they spread through the state.....I have to talk to myolder brother...he had a biggish farm in unity, nh for years and I almost think I remember him being smokin mad one time cuz hogs got into his crops and did a ton of damage and he tried to get some help or damages through f&g and didnt get anyhting.....not sure ill have to ask him. His farm was loaded with coyotes...I smoked a duck stealer with a 30-06 once right in the noggin...not pretty!

pemi HE has shot them out of a stand. IF you screw with them to much ,there out of town.Lately the drill gos.we do a big circle , look for sign, fresh sign .tracks in tracks out.A very big circle. Make circle smaller. your grid gets smaller.By pre. scouting you know the timber, big trees down, Rocky out croppings Tracks in ,no tracks ,You know the drill .You have to do your homework.
