Yesterday, F&G called and gave me another deer for my bait pile. I thought baiting ended with night season on March 31, but the CO said that Baiting for Coyotes is legal until August, but after 31-March, you can't hunt over your bait. That is illegal. So, I'm trying to figure out how this works. Do you wait until the doggies step a few feet away from the bait pile before you shoot?

That's a tough one I know in PA you have to remove feeders 30 days prior to a season opening. If you don't, I think you can't hunt within 300 yards of the feeder / bait pile. Maybe it close to the same If you think about it, that one scary shaded law and one you really would like to know before risking a fine and even you right to hunt. I'll ask a buddy of mine today and get back later.
