I need to still sand her up and finish her but here is how she looks for now. It’s a pretty simple design but I like it for my first try If I don’t keep this for myself, this one just might end up to my son as my first ever pot call. Who knows, someday it might worth something other than Daddy's first call he turned Or we could auction it off on here if I like to way she talks ;D I also need to write down all my measurements before she's put together. It would be too late to get them afterwards when she's a screams. This one is Birds Eye Maple and will be a slate over glass if I can find a glass supplier soon.

That thing looks like it's going to look beautiful. I bet your son would really appreciate it in the future. I can't wait to see the final outcome, keep up the good work!!! -Chris

Tom, I have yet to hear a hand-turned pot call that uses slate that doesn't sound good. I'm sure this one will be no exception to that. I don't know where Andy Kaiser gets his supplies, but you might check with him too.
