Like B4 said, different gun altogether. Do yourself favor and stay away from that Remington 710. A few years ago when I was looking into buying my first rifle that gun's price caught my attention. Well the old addage holds true with this gun, you get what you pay for. I found the action to be sloppy and the overall gun to be cheaply made. I was actually asking the guns manager up at Kittery about that gun and he told me it's one of the worst guns they sell. Most of them come back to the shop for repairs, most of within a short time from the time it was purchased. If your looking to buy a good gun and keep the cost down buy a good used gun. Sorry I got off subject but I just felt I needed to put my 2 cents in.

dano & b4, thanks for the replies. dano you weren't getting off subject, thatwas exactly what Iwas looking for. This is going to be a first big game rifle for a freind (gift ).I am thinking of the savage 111fx package gun,I do like the accu-trigger.
