I am on the fence on what my next rifle will be chambered in.
Should I go .243 or 22/250?
Do you guys think the 22/250 is to much of a long range gun for around here??
Any opinions would help.

I have a .22-250 and got my fox with it. I actually got it for p-dog shooting, but now that i live back east i still shoot it. I love it and it'll shoot 1 hole groups at 100 yards all day. I think you'd be happy with either.

I personally would go with the .243 just because it is so versitile. if you want to hunt deer just run a heavier round if your more into yotes and other vermin then use a lighter round.

I've got several Rem 700 ADL in .243. I like them because of the versatility. I can use 62gr Barnes VG for varmints or heavier Remington Core-Lokt loads for deer, pig or even bear. When I'm in TX at my sister's coyote hunting, I keep a couple Core-Lokt rounds in my pocket in case a pack of pigs happens to wander by. Then it's BBQ time.
Still - wouldn't mind trading one for a .22-250. Nice to have a variety of guns to play with.

I'd have to go with the 243 like omega47 & usmchuck. OI believe you would get a lot more all around use with the 243 than the 22-250 here in the NE states.

I agree, the .243 will be my next.
