Hello to all
I am looking for someone that has the free time to go coyote hunting. Central (Concord area and North). I have many years experience in coyote calling and have called many coyotes in the Northeast and elsewhere. If someone here has the time please e-mail or respond to my post. Thanks

lynx, I'm always up to bust coyotes! Browning204 and I are going Saturday evening to give it a try. Not 100% where we'll be going but it will be either in Webster or in Concord. I can't speak for Browning204 but maybe we should all three hook up? How far North do you go?

Thanks for the reply's
Before you go coyote hunting it's almost a must that you know where the coyotes are living. You want to call them in their own turf. A lot of the reason most hunters don't have any success calling coyotes in the Northeast is because they are trying to call coyotes that aren't there. Finding tracks or scat is not a good indicator that coyotes are in the area. Our coyotes can travel 1 to 20 miles a night looking for food. The best way to locate coyotes is at night using coyote vocalizations. Then you will know exactly where they are living which saves the hunter a lot of time and frustration. When we go coyote hunting, we will hunt for 3 or 4 days because we have to locate them first at night. Then we will hunt the following afternoon and do more locating that night. After locating you will have 1 more obstacle to overcome. Getting the landowners permission to hunt on his land.

that probably is my freakin problem!!! if you read my post called my findings you will see that. I have been hunting this same area for like 10 times now and only had them howl back one time!! There are tracks everywhere, scat once but no kill sights or nothing. but I am wondering where they could possibly be coming from or going. its a powerline stretch that is surrounded by roads at some point. I dont wanna put a camera out because my last one was stolen.. they hit my bait everytime but never can be there at the right times... Maybe I should just move on?? oh well, thanks for any input you can give..

I'd like to find a few regular hunting partners in the Nashua area if they didn't mind hunting with a newbie.

I like to locate howl sometimes but in most cases I don't.I feel that the coyotes around here stay where the food and water is.After calling for many years you just know where the coyotes are.You guys could be not seeing coyotes because the yotes are busting you before you are busting them.Just my thoughts and good luck.
