I went to this last year. It was alot of fun, until my daughter got stung on her top lip by a bee! By the time we left, the swelling had gone down. Some pretty cool targets. The African targets enormous.

I'm glad they changed the date, Last year it conflicted with an all Taditional shoot in Maine that I always go too.

There is a long story as to why the date changed from last year. We are hoping that this new date draws allot of traditional guys who could not come last year because of the Maine shoot.

I'm afraid the R-100 is going to loose a lot of GSB shooter's this year, me included. The R-100 is the same weekend as the State Championship shoot at Profile, and there are still a lot of hard feelings over events that transpired last season. I was one of the few who shot that final GSB course last year, who gave you the benefit of the doubt, maybe it really wasn't intentional. But after you changed the date this year and the story behind it, you'll forgive me if I take your explanation with a grain of salt this time.

Perry - I want to address your post, but I would appreciate it if we kept the GSB issues out of this thread.
The new date was posted on Rinehart's website at the end of December (had I not been out of town on business I would have posted it on the GSB message board). Most of the GSB boycotted the R-100 last year and I assume that they will do the same this year (which is no big deal to us). Everyone who shot the R-100 last year had a great time, its too bad the GSB is forcing the guys who want to shoot the R-100 to choose between the two shoots instead of just moving their date.
As far as the final shoot last year, we've said it before - we set out a hard course just to set out a hard course. Some people complained and some people complimented us on it (although most of the complainers seem to be on the other website).

You're right, this wasn't the place to drag that stuff back in. I appologize. The decision to shoot one or the other may be made a moot point, there's enough people on the other site trying to build up a head of steam to change the state shoot to later in the year. Hopefully, that great and powerfull, mythical institution known only as "GSB" will come out of their cave and do the right thing. Sorry about the sniping.
