Wow, four already. Two from last year too. Surprised, I would have thought the field mice would have destroyed them by now. Congrats on the shed!

That is sad. While out shed hunting yesterday all I found were two deer skulls one still had some hair on it the other looked old. Looks like a nice buck too...

Have you seen any bucks around?I went out for a little while I guess yesterday now and seen a buck still carrying both antlers but hey it's still way early. We should start finding some at least by late February.

I haven't been finding much for sheds. The last week of muzzleloader my uncle found the skull and rack of an 8 point. He gave it to the guy who owns the property we hunt on.
I think with this mild weather the deer aren't where they usually are this time of year. They don't need to go far for food. I'll be checking some new spots today.

Same here with the lack of deep snow the deer are scattered all over just like last year.

I haven't seen any bucks lately, hardly any deer actually. Hopefully the cold weather will move them around more. The spring is when we see the most deer, they come on our side of the hill because the snow melts quicker.

Anyone having any luck with sheds lately? I've been out several times but no luck.

Alot still carrying down here in Md. Things are starting to look good though, more and more are starting to drop. I've got 20 so far with I believe only 4 being old sheds.

I always take plenty of shed pics specially "as they lay" pics. These are Md sheds nothing like walking the mountains up North and earning every shed.I posted my first 2 shed finds under "ShedPics". Here's some more. Here's a little Y shed. A little 3pt. side from the same area. This was an old one. Another little old one. A nice fresh 4pt. side. Another fresh 4pt.side from the samr area, not a match to the last shed. This next one was the mate to my first shed found this year. The next two sheds were found back to back not 1/2 hour apart,a matched set. The first half. And the other side. Here's the 2 sets together. Those pics take me through #14.I've got some more plus I'm headed back out again tomorrow.Maybe I'll find a few more and post the others then.Hope you enjoyed.
