Yeah, some hounds have a rough (no pun intended) life. Afternoon nap on the porch: Relaxing on the lawn: A swim on a hot Sunday afternoon: Yeah, it's a tough life

Yeppers... Our older dog lives like that, but she doesn't swim. Move couch cushions to use for pillows. Someone is always willing to make room for her on the furniture. Sleeps with my parents. Has run of the house, even when we are on vacation, and gets the dinner scraps.
The pup is still a spaz and lives differently. Digs in a 5 gallon water dish so she can lay in the pool of water in the back hall, jumps in a small pool we bought for her, sleeps on furniture if it is cool out(due to the frustration she caused my mom while i was at school), eats dog biscuits, easily obtains attention from people and our older dog, sleeps on my bed in the only airconditioned room in the house at night, and will soon be able to go on my fishing trips(once she learns heel and come).

yup, my dog likes to call my Black leather couch his own. he gets anything and everything he wants. I treat him like a child. My girlfriends gets mad because when I come home, I hug and play with my dog before I say hi to her. I told her when she comes runnin and wagging her tail then she'll get the same treatment. My friends think that I am weird because of the way I treat my dog. When the call me to hang out they tell me to ask my dog if it's ok for me to go out!
