Well took the Omega out yesterday and got it sited in. I set it up to shoot 3" high at 50 yards but I will still have to shoot some more at 100 yards. I shot some with 100 gr of T7 and I ended up with a decent group shooting 120 gr of T7 with 250 gr shockwave bullets. I was aiming 3" below the bullseye at the bottom of the the green circle. I will have to do more shootng because I know the 2 outside shots was probably me, since I don't shoot as much as I use to.

LOOKING GOOD ;D The more you shoot and get use to it, the tighter they'll get. Any other Omega shooters using Triple 7 and if so how many grains of powder is your gun liking?

I have not shot my omega yet, but was wondering if anyone has used them in the rain and if they had any problems,It seems we always have plenty of rain on my days off &and someone was saying that are not as water tight as a Knight w/a disc and should look into one of them.

My buck in the "Pics of BP Rifles" was shot in the rain and it worked flawlessly The pic was taken the next day at the checking station. There's a pretty good recovery story behind that buck and I owe it all to morsesport who came to my aid after I called him away from his dinner table on a rainy night! If he reads this? Thanks! even if you took my four wheeler in places you'd never take your own ;D I know it was only because you could never take your's in places like that without getting it stuck ;D

I shoot my omega with 150g of T7, I also hunted one day last year in pouring rain and shot it at the end of the day. Rain didn't seem to effect it at all.
