Here is my B-Mobile with his brand new look. This is the fan and beard off my 2007 NH turkey. He looks so much better with a real fan and beard. I think I will leave him set up in my living room, he looks better than just having another fan mount on the wall. Well, I came up with a name for my decoy " THE FONZ " the cool one WOOOO. ;D

And here's what happens to a B-Mobile with a real fan after he's been beat on for 15 minutes by a 21.5 lb, 10.5" bearded redhead. The "15 minutes" happened because my cousin set him up outside the shooting lanes. But that's another story....

Now I didn't get to see that one photo of "Hansome" on the wall all beat up ;D It's almost like he's got his head down and shamed that he got beat so bad.
You'll have to have him email you the story and you post it on here for us all to read ;D
You know bluemtchuck, you have to give your decoy a name! "Leroy" & "Hansome" are already taken by me and masshntr cousin ;D

O.K., here's the rest of the story. My cousin has a sweet hunting spot in central New York. It's a series of fields that terrace down a fairly steep north-facing hillside, bordered east, west, and north by woods and separated by classic hedgerows. Great place for turkey and deer; he's killed plenty of both there. The lowest field is virtually surrounded by hardwoods. His groundblind (he's a sitter) is in some thick brush under a large pine at the edge of the field. He cut some shooting lanes on either side and has been playing tag with redheads all season - jakes, a beardless tom, a longbeard he missed when it got spooked by his hen decoy falling over. I had seen a big bird in the woods behind his blind early in the season but didn't get a shot. He had a jake in one shooting lane, Hansome (named for a Dutch friend of ours - Hans - that's a new turkey hunter) and a breeding hen were between the lanes. Anything coming into the field from either side or behind was dead. He heard what sounded like a squirrel churring out in the field. It wasn't quite right, but he didn't know what else it could be. Then he heard something hitting hard plastic. He saw a white head through the brush, and a fan moving. The noise built up but he couldn't get a clear view. He was watching both lanes but the longbeard stayed with the B-Mobile, beating the crap out of it. Finally, he leaned as close to the ground as he could, got an opening and took the shot.
Hansome was on his side, feathers missing from the fan and his body pecked. The longbeard never made a sound except, possibly, that churring. He came diagonally across the field. We figure he must have been roosted on the hill over there and could see the decoy when it got light. He came a long way - several hundred yards - across that field.

I really didn't use him much last year, but hope to this year.
