I my self run houds but do have a few stands out for my uncle because he cant hunt under our dogs because he lives in florida. If you do have dogs what do you have and how many I have 13 right now with 6 blue tick 5 walkers ands one plot and 2 blood hounds.

No way, crispy creams are too good to be used as bear bait. ;D

Still hunting the beech stands, glassing & stalking on the powerlines and over bait. Three in the last four or five years. Two over bait and one hunting woods in the pouring rain with a muzzleloader.

Last year during muzzle loader season I was on my way to my treestand which is on a ridge loaded with oaks. It was about 2 pm and I was about 50 yards from my treestand, when I spotted this huge black bear eating acorns. He was about 4 feet from my tree lounge that was sitting at the base of the tree. I had him in my crosshairs for about 3 min broadside, then a gust of wind hit the back of my neck and that bear put his nose up in the air and that was it. That is 2 years in a row that I've seen a bear in that time frame during muzzle loader season. I do not get a bear tag because I have no interest in shooting one.
