I guess this qualifies as a "camera trap" since the People's Republic of Massachusetts has outlawed fur trapping. This guy's been around the house for a couple of years. Apparently still finding enough to eat...

Any idea what they're going for now? Used to be $250 in NY in the '60s and '70s.

I watched one for about 40 minutes with my spotting scope today, I am going to try and call him in and put the smack down on him!

Use a turkey call My buddy was turkey hunting this past spring and was sitting against an old rock farm wall. He was using a box caller and after about twenty minutes, he feels a cold moist nose against the back of his neck. He motioned for one of his party to look and it was a fisher cat that had crawled up behind him to see what all the racket was. It was youth hunting day and the only one with a gun was a young kid. When he saw the fisher, he dropped the gun, screamed like a little girl and peed his pants. Too funny.

I've got a fisher now eating off my bait pile. He won't touch the deer I have there, but he gobbles up all the dog food I leave out. Big sucker too - his front paw prints are 2" across.
