No he did not shot that one, but it was not from a lack of effort. When I told him to hold the bird so I could take a pic he said he wanted to hole the gun to!!!
The pic is taken north of Timmins ONtarion, (500 miles north of toronto) and you can not beleive the numbers of grouse. You are allowed to have 5 a day with a 30 possession limit. We have left after 5 days with 120 birds on several occassions between me, my wife, my father in law and brother in law. The dogs gets UNBELIEVABVLE work!!

???LOL Yote, I'll do that right now!!!
mk-m, Dont let the age stop you. My wife and I were bird hunting in Norhtern Nh when my oldest was 3 1/2 months old. She had him in a papose and when the dog would go on point she would take him out, grab my gun and give my the babby and go get the bird!!
When she works I put them both in the truck and we go off scouting somewere. They both have the cocepts of hunting down. They can finda deer track, tell which way it going, they know where to hunt and that you have to be quiet.
Best part about it is that if you gave them a choice between icream and Venison they would take venison!! They both do back flips for it.
Start him now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have had him a the silhouette shoots already. I'm sure I'll have him out a lot the turkey scouting and fishing this Spring and by Fall maybe scouting for deer as well. I plan on including him in everything I do and hope my passion for the outdoor wears off.
He already loves going on the boat ;D We've been boating on Sunapee, Franklin Pierce, Massasecum and Winnipesaukee so far. He also loves being in the water just as much as being on it! He's been swimming (actually just floating) in Sunapee and a few local ponds and our friends pool.

Thats awsome. I am so glad thae my boys seem to love the outdoors as much as my wife and I. The only thing I have ever forced on them is watching outdoor shows on the weekends!!! Other than that I try and make everything the do fun. As soon as they stop having fun we stop and go home. They are starting to ask to go with me now so it seems like they really enjoy it.
