This is the first year in NH that I spent a good amount of time focusing on crow hunting as much as I did. Since the opening of the early season, I’ve logged in several hunts with a good friend that all ended up in great times. I still have a few hunts left to try and get my numbers higher. I'm hoping to be adding more numbers this fall but not sure how much time I’ll get in with the bow season and fall turkey season in at the same time Anyways, my idea is to list my crow numbers here on this post now and maybe come back in the early season of 2013 to see if my crow hunting skills have improved. It just might also serve as an incentive to get out next year and double up the crow piles. I would add up a “Totally Missed Crows” category to the list below but unfortunately, I can’t count that high. Well I can count pretty high, I'd just rather forget the missed ones MKMGOBL’s Crow Numbers:Dead Crows: 27 / 7
Shared Crow Kills: 2
MIA or Lost Crows: 4 / 2
Doubles: 2
Grand Total: 40** Vemont number are in yelloow

NG...buy one of the hand counters or hand clickers at Dick's in the baseball section. I use mine for counting the crappie while ice fishing

Maybe you guys can use the clickers for the number of boxes you go through At the end of the day just times the clicker number by 25 ;D I'm not one that should not throw rocks in this conversation. I was out crow hunting a fly way in MD and went through 7 boxes of shells on one hunt Let's just say that out of 175 shots, I sure didn't need a counter to add up the dead ones. In fact all I need were my two hands to count them

My birds killed to shot percentage is horrible. But I don't care I am having a great time! I shoot about a box of shells or more for every five birds. If I really wanted to get my percentage up I would be more patient and not take any long shots. But every once in a while you connect on a bird thats a ways up. MK, good job on the doubles. Last season I was able to pull the double off a few times but so far this season I have only connected on one bird at a time...
