Boy am I glad I read this particular post. I'll have to make sure my 5 year old son doesn't go over his limit on salamanders. I think he had 8 in a bucket for a few days last summer. What a poacher he is huh? When are they gonna come up with a limit of earth worms? Before we know it they'll be extinct. Tax money hard at work there.
Personally I'm waiting for them to address this past winter ...the easiest winter on earth for deer. It just goes to reason that everyone wil be given free extra doe tags to fill right? We'll see.

Hmmm...I did a TON of bird hunting lats year, and only flushed I think 3 grouse. Last I knew all three were still running around out there after our very chance meeting. On the other hand, in my opinion we have a grey squirrel problem...I've never seen so many in my life.
Turkeys, we all love them but cmon...they're everywhere now. So many that they're directly competing with the deer when it comes to mast crop feeding (in my area anyway). We had no acorns last year, but decent beech drop. In my area it was gone quick due to several huge turkey flocks.

They are ferocious on the acorns that's for sure...I have wondered if they are out competing the deer, bear, etc for mast.
