Apparently you missed the point on my bat post, it was more aimed at the issue of property owners being forced to allow bats to live in their unoccupied buildings. Just another stupid law that would be unenforceable, like so many on the books right now "). I guess this is a great example of you "yapping" when you don't know what your talking about. Oh and I am quite familiar with bat disease and even have a bat house on my place, just so you know I don't want to kill every animal in NH What!?..no commentary on the bat housing ? Sure, my bad for not answering that. It is right at your finger tips as to why. Here's the link. www.wildlife.state.nh.us/Wildlife/Nongame/bats/wns.htmlI guess that in itself is a great example as to what I was talking about with getting facts before bashing something, or in this case the F&G Dept.

Heck with all this volume of information available, maybe somebody can answer a question I have long had, why does NHFG have an air-boat? Because if there is no specific need for one then it might be construed by some as being frivolous and a waste of money? I was not aware they had it until one day I watched 5 NHFG employees playing with it at a boat ramp for over an hour.

nastygunz What’s great about America is that we are allowed to have our own opinions on kinds of different things. Most people respect other opinions for what they are and then there’s those do their best to impose their opinions as being the one and only right opinion. A good example would be Ken and it’s too bad you can look back at the posting land topic I had with him because I deleted EVERYTHING about the guy from the forum. According to him, I was a selfish scumbag flatlander if I bought/leased land and posted it for me and my kids to hunt on without anyone stealing my stands or walking in on gobbler we are working. Apparently I’m not allowed to do whatever I want on land I buy, pay taxes on and maintain There was nothing I could say or do because his opinion was the one and only right opinion. It was funny how it was OK for his in-laws to post land because they were “nature lovers” and then later he tried to say he learned from his father-in-law that their home was shot at when his wife was a little girl For me being a hunter, I would have known that about my girlfriend a long long time before I ever made her my wife and had kids that were in high school. Nothing but bull$#!% l and socialism at it’s finest if you ask me This is why you will never be right or win in those kinds of battles. They will change it to make them right or justify their reasons all the time. So just let it go and keep on posting about the up and coming crow, turkey, fishing season, new gear you’ve purchased or gear you’ve used like you have been THUMBS UP There are 3,835 topics and 18,908 total post on this forum. It sure would be nice people wouldn’t just pop up to post whenever they see some disagreeing with what F&G policy or what they are doing. I do believe, no I know that the F&G Face Book page is full of guys blowing smoke up F&G pant legs on how great they are. Believe me, that’s all they allow on there I've tried to ask questions and point out things and if it does shine a soft warm glowing spotlight on F&G and their image, they will delete it. So if people don’t like reading reality, they can always head over there and read nothing but 100% positive comments and praise about F&G 24/7

Not at all FS! I enjoy catching information I miss or haven’t seen yet We all have the right to agree and disagree or have strong opinions. Take a look at regnar and I past posting. We’ve gotten into some heated opinion battles but it never gone too far and I believe we’ve both respected each other thoughts. I didn’t see that with some comments being posted plus I have a huge pet peeve when people log on just to argue. I was up at 3am to plow the last snow storm. While the truck was warming up I got the chance to read a post from a person posting about the F&G blunder with the big laker photo on FB. Now most of you probably didn't see it because when I got home to comment on it, it was gone! I'm guessing that the sight of someone laughing at their beloved F&G upset them so much it sent them off ;D It was that stupid a$$ comment I read that prompted me to post my comments to NG, it's useless to argue. I just noticed that if some of you are reading this topic and are lost, it’s because the post from the other half of the post were deleted. And it wasn't by me People should take note that NOT everyone on here loves or has their nose up F&G butt taking big sniffs and smiling. I believe that they do some great things but I also believe they do some very stuid things. So if someone is working to be an F&G poster child, they would be better off doing on a F&G forum or on their FB page

I was going to post about the air boat but decided to wait!!!
The justification for the airboat is for cold water and ice rescue. Sounds great in theory and I am sure I would want it if I went through the ice but just wondering how many times it was actually truly needed?

I don't recall seeing being used for the guy on Canobie Lake going after his dog. If I fell through the ice in Keene, would F&G bring the air boat from Concord or even the lake region (where its most like to be) to get me out? I think the local fire department would be called and that F&G would assist them. Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't F&G have a hovercraft? I know a few years ago when they postponed the Meredith Derby I saw it on Paugus Bay cruising around.

I can go with the ice rescue but as previously mentioned NH is a big state to cover with one ice boat....if I fell through Id rather have a beat up canoe in 3 minutes then an air boat in 3 hours.....HOVERCRAFT!?!

And unless there are more than 1 airboat, it is kept in Groveton. At least I see one in a Wardens yard many of the times I go to camp.
