I use gorrilas and love them. Nice mid-priced stand and I can sit all day. A bit heavy though compared to lone wolf.
I also use the cheap-o field and stream models and to be honest there are awesome for the price.

I have several of many different types. I love the LW but as you say $$ is a bit off. I love the new gorilla stands. VERY Commfy and priced right. KTP had a few different types for under 150 for a quality stand. I really like the new ones with the arm rests.
I have several summits, two climbers and two hang-ons (deer decks). Love them for a place that I am going to set it and leave it. But they are noisy. By noisy I mean they make a lot of noise when setting up and if an acorn hits one it sounds like the QE2 ringing her bell as she comes into harbor!!. That said they are very commfy .
Saw another stand at KTP that looks great and I may have to try. it was called leverage. They look like a LW but are quite a bit less. They have sticks as well that are cheaper.
Melinium makes the most comfortable stand I have used but they are in the same price range of the LW

I have three different Rivers Edge stands, two are the cheaper end, bit heavy, but comfy. One is an upper end one, very comfy.

My buddy uses a stand made by Muddy. They sell for $199 , are very comfortable, can be adjusted to be level (which matters in some trees).
Myself I use a summit climber sometimes but last year I bought a Millenium with 5 brackets. I have the brackets on 5 different trees and choose which tree to hunt out of depending on the wind and other factors. Then I use my LW sticks to climb up, hoist the stand up and insert it into the bracket - takes less than 10 minutes to be setup. Super comfortable to sit in all day and has a large platform to stand. But its pricey, portable, comfortable but pricey.
