Hey Ken, thanks much! It would appear that Newbury Rd. cuts right over Colby Hill connecting High St. (RT. 4) in the north to Queen St. in the south, correct? Some maps show Newbury Rd., others do not. Do you know if Newbury Rd. is a passable road or is it something less?

Ah! Got it. I found both Grace Sovereign Church and Merrill Corner Rd and, I suspect, Colby Hill. Within the next few weekends I'll up in the Boscawen/Canterbury area with a buddy kayaking/fishing the Merrimack. I'll take some time and have a look see at Colby Hill then. Again, thanks much.

Hey Ken, thank you again very much for the heads up about Colby Hill. As it was, I managed to get up to Canterbury Saturday morning to check out a few put-in locations for an upcoming paddling trip on that section of the Merrimack. I was able to take some time to shoot over to Boscawen and check out Colby Hill. Time didn't permit me to actually venture into the woods and look around a bit, but I did find a likely access spot. From what I was able to see, the location seems quite promising. Once again, it was very generous of you to point me in the right direction. Perhaps before too much longer, I'll be able to check things out by actually walking about up there. msj
